The Health Library offers several services, such as study rooms and the obtaining of new materials, please see below
Rooms for private study are available, they are free of charge but often in high demand, booking in advance ensures you’ll get the chance to use the space.
Due to current Coronavirus restrictions, the study rooms have limited occupancy, if you wish to have more than 1 person studying or have a group project planned, we will do our best to accommodate. We will also limit bookings to 2 hours maximum length due to high demand for these spaces, except in specific circumstances. Please get in contact with us here to book a room.
If we should not have a specific book in stock, we can potentially order it from other libraries. Please use our request form Here to start the process.
If there is an article from a medical journal you would like to read, we can obtain it for you in PDF form, if we do not have a physical copy of the journal in question. Please use our request form Here for this service.
For a broader search on a given subject, you can work with a specialist librarian to find more information on the topic. Submit a request using the form found Here, and one of the team will get in contact with you as soon as possible.
