Searching SWIMS library book catalogue

The catalogue holds all of the book details for items held in the SWIMS Network of health libraries across the South and West of England. If you have set up an account with us you can request books from any library in the network through this online catalogue.

You can restrict your searches to either the Knowledge Spa or Banham House sites by changing the “All Libraries” box to “Royal Cornwall – Truro (RCH) or Cornwall Partnership – Bodmin (SLH) respectively.

• If you wish to request books that are not available in the SWIMS network, you can use our book request form and we will try to source it from libraries furthe afield.
• There is a computer in the Knowledge Spa library dedicated to searching the library catalogue.
• You may make suggestions for additions to library stock using our book suggestion form.

Self renewal

You may log in to the SWIMS catalogue to renew your books on loan from either Truro or Bodmin using your library card number. When logging in for the first time you will need to request a password. To do this, choose Login and then click the link underneath to reset your password. An email will be sent to your registered email address which you can then use to log in. For more information see the book renewal page.
